Thomas Edison & Henry Ford Winter Estates

Visitors enjoy 20 acres of historical buildings, beautiful gardens, Edison Botanic Research Lab, and the Estates Museum. The newly restored Edison buildings include the Main House, Guest House, and Caretaker’s House. The 1929 historic landscape is evident throughout the property, including the award-winning Moonlight Garden. The 15,000-square-foot (air-conditioned) Estates Museum has an impressive collection of inventions, artifacts, and special exhibits that inspire imagination and encourage exploration. This is a National Register Historic Site and Winner of the National Trust for Historic Preservation Stewardship Award of a Historic Site.

The Complete Estates Tour offers an orientation and self-guided audio tour of the historic homes, gardens, and laboratory of the Edison and Ford families as well as the Museum.
